Course Overview
This qualification is designed to prepare learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding to enter work in an early years setting and be included in staff to child ratios. This qualification includes both knowledge and skills that meet the Department for Education Early Years Educator (DfE EYE) criteria in full and map to the knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSBs) within the Early Years Educator occupational standard ST0135 in England.The content created can be used in media, advertising, and marketing campaigns. Content Creator Apprentices work closely with designers and developers, using authoring tools and languages to produce content for the web, including video, images, text, social media posts, and web pages. This role is typically office-based and can be found in advertising, marketing, and digital agencies, or in interactive roles for broadcasters.

On completion of this apprenticeship, you will hold
- a NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education – License to Practice
Progression
The role may act as a gateway to further career and training opportunities, including, but not limited to:
- Degree in Primary Education leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Advanced Practice
- Level 3 roles in a range of settings, such as: Nursery Practitioner, Preschool Assistant, Childminder, Classroom/Teaching Assistant and SEN support
Placement Requirement
The total number of mandatory work placement hours is a minimum of 300 hours; however, it is recommended that learners undertake 350 hours where possible.
Learning and Assessment
Each learner will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct remote tutorials, providing continuous support throughout the course. Depending on the learner’s needs, the frequency of these sessions may vary. This qualification is internally assessed and externally quality assured via a portfolio of evidence.
