The aim of the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Childcare and Education is to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding, and skills required to work competently and confidently with children from birth to five years, with knowledge of children up to the age of seven. The qualification is designed to prepare learners for a professional role in early years education and care, ensuring they understand child development, safeguarding, health, and well-being, and how to support childrens’ learning through play and planned activities.

- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Early Years Educator

- Level 3 roles in a range of settings, such as: Nursery Practitioner, Preschool Assistant, Childminder, Classroom/Teaching Assistant (Early Years or Reception)
This is a knowledge only qualification. Experience in the real work environment is not required.
Each learner will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct remote tutorials, providing continuous support throughout the course. Depending on the learner’s needs, the frequency of these sessions may vary. All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods. Knowledge-based outcomes will be assessed using non-mandatory assessment tasks.
